Cancer ribbon – designed by Rosalie Temple, incorporates the five symbols of the four main tribes, co-existing in the Northwest coast of British Columbia.

On the top left is the raven with the light in it’s beak, on the top right is the eagle, on the lower left the wolf and on the lower right the killer whale. The butterfly in the middle, represents all non-first nations, perching on the “Tribes” feather.
