Rosalie Temple
Artist
Rosalie Temple - the thirteenth daughter of the well-established Nisga’a carver Murphy Stanley, was born in Prince Rupert, B.C. She is a member of the killer-whale clan. At a young age, Rose attended and completed various programs at colleges in British Columbia in art, fashion and design. She started her teachings of art and culture at the Kaien Island Friendship House, honoring her ancestors by passing on her knowledge to others. The latest endeavor, Tribes, combines her beautiful drawings of First Nations art with well-styled fashions.
